After 10 years at the well-regarded Minneapolis agency Fallon McElligott, Luke became the Chief Creative Officer of Atlanta's largest agency, WestWayne. Now, after 4 years of helping them attain some creative accolades of their own, he is freelancing and consulting. Prior to that, he was a vice president at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia. He began his career as an understudy of Tom McElligott at Bozell & Jacobs. WestWayne is the largest independent ad agency in the Southeast.
His 20 years of experience include working for such clients as Miller Lite beer, United Airlines, Lee Jeans, Publix Supermarkets, SunTrust and Ralston Purina, as well as Porsche, BMW, and Maserati automobiles.
At WestWayne, Luke personally oversees all work on all accounts.
Luke is the author of a book on advertising - Hey Whipple, Squeeze This , available in 5 languages and used across the country in colleges. He's twice been named by Adweek as one of the top 10 copywriters in America. He has been honored in every national and international show, including London's D&AD, Cannes and The One Show.
Luke says he "enjoys the indoors."
