Mark joined Leo Burnett, London in 1986. He was promoted to Creative Director in 1994. During that time he has won numerous industry awards, including 15 prestigious Grand Prix. These awards include the Cannes Grand Prix for Mercedes Benz, 7 Cannes Gold Lions, 4 D&AD Silver Pencils, 2 Eurobest Grand Prix, the Clio Grand Prix, the Andy Grand Prix and 4 Andy awards

He has produced creative work for most of the agencys significant clients, including John West Salmon, Heinz, McDonald’s, Mercedes Benz, United Airlines and Gordon’s Gin. Also, during that time, both Heinz and McDonald’s were named ‘Advertiser of the Year’ in the United Kingdom.
In 2001, Leo Burnett London was the number 1 Creative Agency in the U.K. and the most awarded agency in the world at Cannes, in television, winning 3 Gold Lions.
Mark was one of the two most awarded Creative Directors in the world in 2001. That same year he was President of the Eurobest Advertising Awards and represented the U.K. on the Cannes Film Jury. In 2002, he became the Vice Chairman / Deputy Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett U.S.A.
