Marie-Catherine DUPUY is the 3rd generation of advertisers. Marie-Catherine DUPUY's grandfather, Roger-Louis DUPUY, founded the advertising agency R.L. DUPUY in 1926, it was one of the first advertising agency created in France. Later, Jean-Pierre DUPUY, Marie-Catherine's father, became chairman of the agency.
DUPUY became DUPUY COMPTON and later SAATCHI & SAATCHI when it was bought by the SAATCHI group in 1986.
1970 - After having completed her studies at Paris-Dauphine University, Marie-Catherine DUPUY was hired by Philippe MICHEL, who founded later CLM-BBDO, as a copy-writer at DUPUY-COMPTON . She did the Banga, Kelton, Danone campaigns and worked on many Procter & Gamble brands.
1983 - Creative director SNIP 4.
1984 - Founding Partner and Executive Creative Director BOULET DRU DUPUY PETIT. The agency will become BDDP in 1987.
1989 - Judge at the International Advertising Festival of Cannes
1989 - 3 gold Lions at the International Advertising Festival of Cannes for 1664 (beer), Scandale (underwears) and Grant's (whisky)
1991 - She was elected "Man of the Year for Creation" by the ad Magazine Stratégies.
1992 - Interviewed for the" Creative Leaders" pages in the Wall Street Journal.
1998 - Merger of BDDP with the TBWA network.
1998 - Marie-Catherine DUPUY is nominated President & Executive Creative Director TBWA\PARIS
1998 - Judge at the ANDY Awards.
1998 - 1s woman and 1st French personality President of the CLIO Awards.
1999 - Judge at the New York Festival
1999 - President of the EUROBEST Awards.
1999 - Member of the TBWA Worldwide Creative Board created the same year by Lee Clow, Chairman and Worldwide Creative Director
2000 - Speaker at the AAAA Bermuda Conference. She was invited by Phil Dusenberry, the AAAA Chairman to speak about the evolution of creation in advertising and to present the big european trends .She was the only european personality to be invited.
2000 - 3 gold Lions at The Advertising Festival of Cannes for Bic Daddy (Film), Playstation Lara Croft (Print), Playstation Boxer (Print)
2001 - Speaker at the Miami Ad School for lecture classes and a series of assignment/critic classes.
