Ty joined Wieden+Kennedy New York in September, 2000. He and his partner Todd Waterbury oversee all creative work at the shop, including Nike, ESPN, Brand Jordan, U.S.Trust, Sega Sports, MystroTV, Avon and The School of Visual Arts. Prior to joining Wieden+Kennedy, Ty helped establish Bartle Bogle Hegarty, New York, joining as Creative Director and employee number 2. He helped build the shop to 65 employees and over 100 million in billings. Ty has had the good fortune to work at a number of other well known creative agencies over the years including Scali McCabe Sloves, Chiat/Day and Goldsmith/Jeffrey, where he created campaigns for national clients such as Reebok, Mercedes Benz, Coca-Cola, Volvo, Everlast, MTV and others. Prior to getting in to advertising Ty was a raft guide and a mechanic which makes WKNYC the only agency in the country where you can get fully integrated brand communications and an oil change.
