Jim joined Carmichael Lynch twelve years ago after spending the first three years of his career at several small Minneapolis shops. He's made a name for himself by writing great ads for Stren fishing line, Harley-Davidson, Polaris (watercraft and snowmobiles) and Rapala/Blue Fox lures to name a few. In recognition of his accomplishments was promoted to Group Creative Director in 1998, supervising Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Northwest Airlines, Sunbeam, AT Cross and Normark.
As a writer, Jim has collected several hundred pounds of hardware along the way, including One Show, CA, Cannes Lions and numerous Stephen E. Kelly finalists (Grand Prize for Harley-Davidson) and other national and regional shows.
And, as of January 2003, he added the title Executive Creative Director to his resume. Now he is responsible for maintaining the high creative bar he helped create at Carmichael Lynch.
Jim is a graduate of St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN with a degree in journalism/marketing.
