Being a dyslexic mushroom farmer, it was only a matter of time before Kim moved into the world of advertising.

After graduating from Epsom College of Art & Design in 1981, he landed his first job at Demonde, followed four years later by BMP. It was here he teamed up with Tony Davidson, working on such clients as VW, Courage and Heinz.

After 10 years Kim and Tony moved away from Paddington and into Leagus Delaney, creating work for Adidas, Hyundai, Guardian and the BBC.

1992 saw them move to BBH, where they worked on Levis, Audi, One2One and Lynx.

In 2000 Kim became joint Creative Director of Wieden + Kennedy with Tony, working on clients such as Nike and Honda.
