Feh was born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa and moved to Providence, Rhode Island, USA when he was seven years old. His full name is Feh Arwonie, which means “Wait, I’ve heard you”, in his native language. But kids, being kids, shortened his name to “Feh” or simply “Wait” after struggling with the pronunciation.

Feh originally attended Syracuse University to pursue a degree in architecture, but was lured away by a scholarship from the university’s art school where he left with a degree in communication design.

He began his career as a designer at Tracy Locke in Dallas, TX. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2000 to work at DDB where he later teamed up with Pat McKay.

They joined Goodby, Silverstein & Partners together in 2005.

Over the years, Feh has worked with clients such as Mountain Dew, Partnership for a Drug-Free America, Ameriquest Mortgage, Starbucks, Comcast and Got Milk? His work has been recognized in Cannes, The One Show, Clios, London International, D&AD, New York Art Directors Club, The Effies, Los Angeles Belding Awards, The Yahoo Big Idea Chair Awards, AICP, and The Emmys.
