As Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide, Mark Tutssel serves as the creative leader of the Leo Burnett brand, overseeing the work created by the global network’s 94 offices.

Mark is one of the most awarded creatives in the industry and his work has garnered every major creative accolade, including the prestigious Grandy and 20 Andy Awards.

In 2006, Leo Burnett Worldwide won the first-ever digital D&AD Black Pencil and 5 coveted Yellow Pencils. In 2007, Leo Burnett also made history by winning two Grand Clios in the Television and Outdoor categories at the Clios.

At Cannes 2007, Leo Burnett Worldwide was the only major network to win a rare Titanium Lion.

Prior to joining Leo Burnett USA in 2002, Mark served as Executive Creative Director of Leo Burnett London. Under his creative leadership, the London agency experienced unprecedented success, becoming the No. 1 creative agency in the United Kingdom and the most awarded creative agency in the world in 2001. During that time, both Heinz and McDonald’s were named “Advertiser of the Year” in the U.K.

Mark has served as Chairman of the Clio’s, D&AD, Andy’s, Eurobest, YoungGuns, Addy’s, AWARD and the Media Awards. He has also sat on the One Show, Art Director’s Club of New York, Art Director’s Club of Europe, the World Press Awards and the Cannes Film and Titanium juries.
