Andre Matarazzo started his career as an AD in São Paulo, Brazil at McCann-Erickson in 1997. His international career began in 2000, when he moved to Canada to work for Blast Radius. The following 5 years have been spent exploring different cultures around the globe and learning what are the universal triggers of great brand communication while working for Blast Radius in Holland, Farfar in Sweden and TYO-Id in Japan. In 2006 Andre returned to the motherland to start what is today dubbed as one of the 100 most creative digital agencies in the world: Gringo.
Gringo has evolved from production to a full-service digital strategy and creative agency through the years, and today employs 70+ people and is the digital AOR several multinational accounts, including the Coca-Cola Trademark, Windows Live, Absolut Vodka, Rider, Unimed Rio, Levi’s, São Paulo Futebol Clube and Boehringer Ingelheim, among others.
