Prasoon takes creativity to another level—in his roles as Chairman &CEO McCann Worldgroup India, Executive Creative Director of the Asia Pacific region and Chairperson of McCann’s Global Creative council.

Add to this, his role in the world of literature and music.

An acclaimed Writer, Poet, script and songwriter, with songs shortlisted at Oscars, he has been named Songwriter of the Year at India’s Film Industry ’Bollywood’ Awards.

He has been conferred the coveted National Award’ by the President of India.

He also has four books of Poetry and Prose to his credit.

Prasoon is also recognized for creating a new language for advertising in India and is majorly responsible for India coming on the international advertising map. Exploiting the inherent ’chaos’ of the Indian way of life he is known for his authenticity and his work has been highly respected. An array of lions, honors at One show D&AD, Clio and many more bear testimony of it.

Under his leadership McCann Erickson India has transformed to a veritable creative powerhouse and has been acknowledged as one of the most respected and admired agencies in India and gradually now in many other countries of Asia.

He also has vast experience of having judged prestigious award shows like the One show, D& AD, Andy’s Clio and many others. He’s served as Jury Chairman at Cannes, Dubai lynx and Adfest & been on Titanium and Integrated jury.

Prasoon’s other honors include being designated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. And part of Indian Prime Minister’s board of Advisors (Communication)

His columns on brand advertising and social issues in leading national dailies are highly regarded.

A postgraduate in Physics and an MBA, he defies convention and believes in following his heart to the last mile.
