Mauro Ramalho, Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Brasil

For more than 25+ years, I’ve been engaged in national and international advertising, working in 3 different countries for leading agencies, always bringing a unique creative vision that integrates different disciplines across advertising for full service clients.

Nowadays, I’m leading Publicis Brasil as CCO, Chief Creative Officer, responding to all Creative Operations including 360 Campaigns from concept to craft, for local and international clients.

Previously, I helped R/GA São Paulo as VP, Executive CreativeDirector, working for local and international clients. I was also responsible for integrating R/GA São Paulo with other R/GA’s around the world, such as NY, London, Portland and California, making R/GA SP the main creative partner for clients such as Verizon, Google, Meta, Samsung, Amex, Heineken and Ally.

By unifying the offices behind a singular creative approach, championing true multidisciplinary collaboration, and fostering a more diverse, supportive culture, I could help steer R/GA SP into a new era of success, and while the bar is still elevating, the office achieved it’s best performance since 2020.

Before that I worked over 10 years building one of the most iconic and innovative Brazilian agencies, CUBOCC. Where, in the last decade, it has become the most creatively relevant agency, joining the agency pool of one of the largest communication groups in the world, the IPG (Interpublic Group).

I was also able to lead the creative team at FCB in order to deliver an integrated work that builds a strong bridge between online and offline. At FCB, I helped the agency win new accounts by elevating the overall creative output, increasing sales and doubling its size from 60 to 120+ employees in one year.

In 2009, I joined AKQA in San Francisco, working for clients like McDonald’s, FOX, Target, Kraft Foods, Nike and GAP. At AKQA I helped lead the project “The Lost Ring” for McDonald’s, one of the 1st Alternate Reality Campaigns which became one of the most awarded projects.

In 2007 I worked at Organic in Toronto, where I was creativelyresponsible for bridging the Detroit and Toronto offices for key accounts like Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler.

In addition to these agencies, I also helped to bring excellence in the craft of AgenciaClick, one of the largest digital agencies in the country and also WMccann Brazil. Among the clients I have worked with and contributed to the growth and development of creative campaigns include: Spotify, Google, Facebook, TikTok, Ambev, Boticário, Audi, Heinz, Nestlé, TIM, Pepsico, Xbox 360, McDonald’s, Target, Nestlé, Coca -Cola Company, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, GM, Johnson & Johnson, Mastercard, Itaú, and many other companies.

As a result, I was awarded at the most prestigious advertising festivals, both nationally and internationally.
