AD Club Foundation

Since 1986, The Advertising Club Foundation has been dedicated to supporting and connecting advertising, marketing, and media professionals along their career paths. From students to the C-suite, the AD Club seeks to provide opportunities and resources to promote, attract, retain & train a workforce of professionals that reflect all communities. Over the years we have evolved into a career advancement and resource hub, promoting opportunities for exceptional talent. The AD Club has long been a pioneering supporter and sponsor of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and programming.

So far, we have invested $10 million back into the industry. While our events, sponsorships, membership, and entry revenue is partially re-invested-back into the industry, our largest fundraising program called Mediaction allows our Foundation’s initiatives to truly thrive. For companies that share The AD Club’s commitment to representation, there is no better place to support it.

FOUNDATION PROGRAMS

Fellowship

Our executive preparation program is designed to accelerate the careers of mid-level professionals. Created in 2016 The AD Club of New York made a commitment of $100K annually to retain more diverse talent and promote more women into leadership positions.

Internship Program

Our internship placement program is making significant progress in attracting & changing the future DNA of our industry by expanding our outreach to find students in diverse schools in the Tri-State area and building relationships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to fuel our talent pipeline database that is distributed to industry recruiters.

Creative Mentorship

As part of our effort to attract and retain BIPOC talent we have created more seats at the jury table for AD-level BIPOC talent. This experience provides unparalleled insight into the creative judging process.  In addition, each C suite level juror signs on to mentor an up-and-coming creative for two-years.

AD Futures

This multi-week pitch competition introduces high-school students to the field of advertising as a career option and challenges them to create a viable campaign, based from a creative brief generated by our partners at The AD Council. From there, we enlist mentors from our member agencies to spend three weeks working with teams…bringing their campaigns to life.

Scholarships

Through evergreen events The Foundation provides impactful scholarships to rising talent all over the globe.

Through The ANDY Awards Student competition $10K is awarded each cycle to an individual or team in order to further their creative studies.

Our ADVERTISING Person of the Year Scholarship goes to a promising high school junior or senior about to embark on their career path within the industry.
