Federico Fanti, Chief Creative Officer, FP7MCCANN

Federico Fanti is a global creative leader with over 20 years of experience in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As an Executive Creative Director, he has led campaigns for major brands like Barilla, Coca-Cola, J&J, P&G, Snickers, Pepsi, Heinz, and Walls, earning more than 300 creative awards. 

Federico is known for building strong client relationships and creating campaigns that connect with audiences around the world. He has won awards from prestigious platforms like Cannes, Epica, D&AD, LIA, CLIO, Eurobest, One Show, Spikes, Lynx, and the New York Festival. While in Russia, he helped Young & Rubicam Moscow win the country’s first-ever Cannes Lion, followed by 9 more Lions over the years, making it the most awarded agency in Russia. 

When Federico moved to Manila with BBDO Guerrero, he expanded his global reach, making a big impact on brands like Cornetto. In 2020, he was named one of the top 10 Executive Creative Directors worldwide by Best Ads Creative Ranking. 

In 2022, Federico became Chief Creative Officer at FP7McCann MENAT. Under his leadership, the agency quickly rose to the top in the Middle East, winning 15 Lions in just two years, along with many other regional and international awards. 

Despite his success, Federico stays humble, crediting his achievements to teamwork with his clients and colleagues. His motto? “Instinct, passion, and a bit of stupidity.” He believes in taking bold risks and exploring unconventional ideas, knowing that sometimes, one “stupid” idea can lead to something brilliant. 

Federico’s career shows the power of creativity and the importance of pushing boundaries, breaking norms, and daring to innovate. He has also served as a judge at national and international events such as Cannes Lions, Andy’s, Loeries, ADCE (Art Directors Club Europe), Tambuli Award, Ad Black Sea Festival, Red Apple Festival, New York Festival, Adfest Asia, YDA (Young Directors Award), and Boomerang Award.
