Akae Wang, Head of Creative, Banana Balloon
From Ogilvy Taiwan, to Publicis China, and later Tencent’s in-house creative – Akae has over 30 years of experience and 200+ international awards. From 2019-2021, consecutively topped Asia Campaignbrief’s China creative rankings. Also he is one of the few Chinese creatives to receive the D&AD Yellow Pencil. In 2022, he founded his own agency Banana Balloon.
Though just a newborn in the ad world, this 10-person dream team of creatives with rich expertise in digital technology and user experience are seasoned warriors ready to conquer the battlefield.
Writing is his favorite pastime with 4 books and 5 plays published. One of his books, “A Cachalot on a Train”, was awarded the silver medal of the Best Book Design from all over the World: International Competition 2013 held In Leipzig.
