Lisa Fedyszyn is Executive Creative Director at Special, Aotearoa, New Zealand. Which was named Campaign Brief New Zealand Agency of the year 2022 and Campaign UK Global Creative Agency of the Year 2023.

She’s passionate about creating work that makes a positive impact on culture – throughout her career she has brought TV characters back from the dead for their “Last Performance”, in a prime time TV show, to talk to New Zealand’s under-insured. She has helped a man living with Motor Neurone Disease sell his unusable belongings in a digital timeline reflective of his deterioration, created the “Most entertaining recruitment film” (and most successful) for the New Zealand Police, which saw the largest intake of female and representative recruits ever and encouraged overseas New Zealanders to “Meddle” in their own election, which saw seats in parliament shift for the first time since 1938.

Lisa has worked across the Australian, New Zealand and North American markets, including Droga5 New York, DDB Aotearoa and Colenso BBDO. And her work has won Grand Prix and Golds at Cannes, Effies, Best in Discipline at One Show and D&AD Pencils. She was recently named Campaign Asia’s ‘Creative Person Of The Year’. And when she was young she was named in Young Guns Top 10 Creatives of the Decade. Ah, those were the days. She thinks. She can’t quite remember, it was a long time ago.
