Ricardo John, CEO and CCO, FCB Brasil

One of the most admired and award-winning creative professionals in the country, John is currently CEO and CCO of FCB Brasil, and boasts a track record of four kids, one border collie, 51 Lions at Cannes, 12 One Show Pencils, 7 D&AD Pencils, and 18 Effies, in addition to two nominations for the Caboré Award – the main communications industry award in Brazil. He has also been a jury member at Andy Awards, One Show, and D&DA, and a three-time juror at Cannes Lions, the last of which as jury president. At WT, where he was CCO and CEO, John implemented the 20/20 project, the first affirmative action initiative in the Brazilian advertising industry. The project, which earned John the 2019 Black Race Award, motivated the Labor Ministry to sign the Pact for the Inclusion of Black Professionals in the Advertising Industry with the main advertising agencies in the country. In 2022, John was elected one of top 10 most admired advertising agency professionals in the industry by Agency Scope- a research that helps to identify, evaluate and connect the game changers that hep innovate and transform business.
