Zeynep Orbay,  Creative Director, Wieden+Kennedy

I am a Turkish Creative Director currently cycling in Amsterdam and working at Wieden+Kennedy on Nike & Hennessy.

After getting my undergraduate degree in graphic design as a valedictorian, I had my master’s degree at SVA as a Fulbright Scholar. I graduated with the Paula Rhodes Award for Exceptional Achievement in Design. After interning with Milton Glaser and Paula Scher (Pentagram); I worked at the New York City Ballet, McCann Erickson NY and TBWA Istanbul before moving to Amsterdam in 2014. I was lucky to be one of the top ten winners of the Next Creative Leaders by The One Club For Creativity in 2021.

I love creating projects around subjects I’m passionate about. Some examples include a project about media censorship in Turkey, a pro-bono initiative around LGBTQIA+ rights, a campaign about climate change for Google, a film on the freedom of Turkish women and a Nike campaign aiming to inspire women across the Middle East.

And last but by no means least, I am the mom to an eight year old human and a five year old dog.
